Welcome

Hello there! I’m Brayden Shopland, and I’m your Vice President Internal for the 2024/25 school year! Prior to this position, I held multiple roles in two clubs including as a general member, VP Marketing, VP Operations, and President. With my involvement in the clubs, I formed many new friendships which has made my time at NAIT truly unforgettable.

I want to thank you for your interest in taking part in Clubs this year. Myself and the amazing Campus Clubs team are so happy to have you! Whether you are looking at joining one of the awesome clubs already on campus or looking to create something new, this Club’s Handbook will be a valuable asset. It covers everything you need to enhance your club’s experience, making it the best that it can be!

The NAIT Students’ Association (NAITSA) is a non-profit organization that enhances the student experience. NAITSA provides various services, including Campus Clubs, Health & Dental Benefits, the U-Pass, Peer Support, Nimbus Tutoring, and many more!

Student-run clubs are an essential part of our campus community. NAITSA Campus Clubs aims to empower students by supporting their passions, interests, and academic pursuits. Students involved in clubs have opportunities to fundraise, host events, organize activities, and create valuable networking opportunities. Without clubs, students would miss out on building friendships, developing leadership skills, and having fun!

NAITSA Campus Clubs fosters a safe and inclusive environment for all students. No matter who you are, there’s a club waiting for you to join—or even start!

Mission statement

Campus Clubs provides resources, services, and training opportunities to turn individual students into connected members of the NAIT Community. We mentor NAIT students from club concept to operational execution, and club leaders in turn host a range of events and projects that further fosters community on campus.
